The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce operates as a "For Membership" non profit organization. The official mission of the Chamber "is to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Pleasure Island through the promotion of tourism and the economic development of Carolina and Kure Beaches and contiguous communities."
