For one of the longest running beach music festivals in the United States, you'll want to attend the historic 28th Annual Carolina Beach Music Festival held on the first Saturday in June each year in Carolina Beach. Enjoy a full day of live entertainment with the hottest beach music bands in the South. For over 28 years each June, thousands of Beach Music Fans head for Carolina Beach, for "Sun, Music & Beer." with a little "Shaggin" thrown in. SHAG COMPETITION
Due to lack of a satisfactory venue the Shag Contest has been cancelled for 2013. Thank you for all those who have participated in this great event and we hope to see you in 2014.
